It’s almost time to get out there and find the true meaning of Christmas.
Starting on December 6th there will be loads of babyJesusrocks to find and when you find one, firstly enjoy it, parade it and talk about it with your family… then bring your whole family along to our special babyJesusrocks the NATIVITY service on 16th December at 10.30am (more details below).
Our hope is that as you find the rocks, you will have some great fun as a family and start talking about all things Christmas and how Jesus fits into it all.
Where do I find a rock and what do I do once I have one?
The rocks will be hidden with some hay in lots of places outdoors around the village… we don’t think it will be long before you stumble across one or two. To make it easy for you, we will be posting clues regularly on Facebook and other social media sites as to where our brilliant hiders have placed the rocks. So once you find a rock, take a selfie with your rock and post it online so we and the village can see your find and join in the conversation!
Once you have found a rock it’s yours to keep. It can be a great conversation starter in the family, and we have found that they become very precious to the finders. You’ll notice our website is on there, so we invite you to join us online and find out about all our Christmas services.

babyJesusrocks the Nativity | December 16th at 10.30am
Being the successful rock finders that you are… we would love to invite you to a special service where lots of other rock finders will be… babyJesusrocks the NATIVITY will give you the chance to show off your rock to everyone, and learn a little bit more about the reason for the season. We will have a contemporary band leading some familiar carols and children acting out the Nativity play. It would be so amazing to see you there with all the other rock finders and celebrate Christmas together on December 16th at 10.30am.
