St John's Church is at the heart of village life in Hartley Wintney.  It is a place to worship God, a place for prayer and a place for fellowship.  You are very welcome to join us at any of our Sunday and mid-week services and in the many activities that are run by/from the church.  If you are new to the village, visiting or making an enquiry about weddings, baptisms, funerals or other personal matters, please call the Church Office on 01252 842215.  We look forward to welcoming you and inviting you to be a part of life at St John's.

Coffee Shop ~ the Coffee Shop in the Church Centre is currently closed for the summer and will reopen on 8th Sept.

First Saturday ~ A new initiative which takes place on the first Saturday of each month, will happen on Saturday 6th September, from 10am-1pm at the Church Centre. It is simply an opportunity to invite the community in to the church, together with the sale of second-hand books, DVDs and unwanted household items.

The Alpha Course ~ The Alpha Course is a 12 week course to understand what Christianity is all about. Weekly topics explore evidence for Jesus' existence, why He died, what is in the Bible, who is the Holy Spirit and why is it all still relevant today. If you are curious, have questions to ask, or want to know more about becoming a Christian, come along (and bring a friend). Evenings start with a delicious home-cooked supper. The course will run on Tuesday evenings, starting 23rd September.

Calling all Cooks! ~ Do you have time to make a quiche, salad or cake? If you do, we would love to hear from you. We are holding many church events during the year in our wonderful new Church Centre and are always looking for new cooks to help out with the catering side of things.

life groups logo webLIFE Groups! ~ We invite all church members to join a mid-week Life Group, for the purposes of fellowship, discipleship, accountability, servanthood and outreach. If you are interested in joining a Life Group, please contact Simon and Lou Shorey via Life Groups.
